Cocktail of the Month - November 2010
Black Velvet
Ingredients:
- 1 Bottled or canned Guiness
- Champagne

Mixing
Pour Guiness into a champagne flute, approx half fill and then top up with champagne.
You will probably need to stir to get an even mix.
Black Velvet - Option two
Ingredients:
- 1 Bottled or canned Guiness
- Good quality Cider
Mixing
Similar to and based on Black Velvet, this is a refreshing drink that carries a bigger kick than
a Shandy.
Use a pint or half pint glass, half fill with cider and top up with Guiness.
Choose a cider that suits your palette, if you use a sweet cider you will take the edge off the dryness of the Guiness.
Beware, this drink is strong, do treat it with the respect it deserves.
